Classical Unlocked presents…

An evening of live music celebrating The Harvest, the debut EP from neo-classical project Entropies featuring vocals, piano, strings, synth and percussion. The night will open with a special performance by acclaimed Polish-Jamaican cellist, composer, and conductor Zara Hudson-Kozdoj who will perform music from her debut album she completed at Studio Richter-Mahr residency in 2024.

Inspired by Sheida Kiran’s BBC documentary Harvesting Turkey’s Tea (2022), the performance draws audiences into the hills of Turkey’s Black Sea coast where, for centuries, women have picked tea on steep slopes. Much of what they earned has traditionally been handed to their husbands, and while older women hope to preserve this way of life, a younger generation is turning away, leaving the industry’s future uncertain.

William jack + xani kolac - April 14

Classical Unlocked and Gotobeat present an electrifying double bill from two of Australia’s most boundary-pushing solo artists.

London-based cellist William Jack incorporates his jazz guitar background into an unconventional style of cello playing, combining cellopickin’ grooves, catchy hooks, and intimate melodic writing.

Joining him is Melbourne-based violinist, composer, and vocalist Xani Kolac, whose performances blend soaring violin lines with powerful vocals, looping, and fearless genre-crossing.

Together, these two Australian artists bring distinct voices, shared roots, and high-octane solo sets to the same stage for one night only

Classical Unlocked presents…

les Itinérantes - live in london

Les Itinérantes made their UK debut with Classical Unlocked in the Square Mile, performing two back-to-back sets at St Ethelburga’s for audiences who were deeply engaged and visibly moved. What unfolded across the evening felt less like a conventional concert and more like a collective experience — quiet, focused, and charged with connection.

Manon, Pauline and Élodie form a French a cappella trio acclaimed for their ethereal, haunting vocal work, sung in more than fifty languages — some ancient, some newly invented. Their performances break away from the traditional stage: moving through the space as they sing, they surround listeners in an immersive soundworld that feels mystical, magical and unforgettable. Drawing on folk traditions, chanson, and early music, they tell stories of women, nature, travel and imagination with remarkable clarity and emotional depth.

This debut embodied exactly the kind of artist-led, audience-centred work Classical Unlocked is focused on delivering: intimate, open, and designed to bring people closer to extraordinary artists and the power of live music.

Classical Unlocked is kindly supported by Decca Classics and Gotobeat.
